The Spring Wing Ding is a celebration which was created to share the beauty of the Rainwater Basin covered with the breathtaking sight of millions of geese and ducks.  This event recognizes one of the area's  valuable natural resources and a unique and spectacular event that occurs every spring.  This celebration  traditionally takes place  the first weekend of March and includes free tours, educational programs, a country barbeque, and a banquet with a benefit auction.

The Spring Wing Ding in Clay Center, Nebraska--a truly inspiring experience  to be shared with those not in the narrow passage of the hourglass.
