WETLANDS BUFFET - 5:00 P.M.

Clay County Exhibit Building, Clay County Fairgrounds
$12.50 per person

Speaker: Dick Turpin

From the 10/11 feature "Turpin Time". He reflects on a variety of outdoor topics including hunting, fishing, parks, nature viewing, flora-fauna profiles, wildlife/habitat management projects, special events, tips and occasional fables with imbedded points on outdoor safety and ethics. Dick is a life-long veteran of outdoor pursuits and is a recent retiree of the Game and Parks Commission. His professional background with the Commission includes safety/education coordination and years of performance as a conservation officer

Jim Baird holds a lovely duck quilt auctioned off at one of the previous banquet auctions. Clay County High School Science teachers were each awarded $250 to be used to further the education of area students in wetland conservation.

 

Mr. Rick Warhurst the Regional Biologist for Ducks Unlimited. from Bismarck, ND, was the 2002 Wetlands Buffet evening's featured speaker.
