Tours

Early Bird Tours take visitors to the lagoons early in the morning to see all the migrating birds in their natural habitat.

The cooks at the Fly-Way Cafe (located at Godtels) prepare brauts and burgers for the spectators to enjoy between tours and workshops.  "There is nothing like a hot braut on a cool day."

Group tours to area marshes are provided at no charge.  Each tour group is accompanied by 1-3 guides who will answer questions and assist in identifying the myriad  of waterfowl that you will see. Participants can expect to see marshes bursting with geese and ducks and other wildlife as well, depending on the time of day.  Tours typically last  l l/2 to 2 1/2 hours.  Advance notice required for individual or small group tours.

The Rainwater Basin is found in the southern tier of counties in central Nebraska.  Clay County is home to many wetlands.
